Our Premise is Simple
Make sound decisions to provide wood products our economy needs and protect the environment and health of our forests for future generations.
We buy standing timber of all species to supply logs for our sawmill. If you own five or more acres of merchantable timber, we would be happy to take a look and give you an estimate on the value of your timber. Most timber purchases are from private landowners with several acre woodlots or mountain tracts.
How much is my timber worth?
Some species of trees are more valuable than others.
The value of an individual tree is often proportional to its size.
Quality will determine if a tree can be converted to lower value pallet lumber or a higher value veneer or sawlogs.
The more volume there is to be harvested, greater opportunity to reduce our logging costs.
The demand for wood products fluctuates with general economic conditions, so timing of a sale can impact the value of your timber.
When do I get paid for my trees?
We will work with you to offer an upfront and regular payment schedule that meets your needs.
What are my responsibilities?
Verifying that the marked trees are on your property and guaranteeing title to them.
